First of all: Nuuu shounen-ai implied whatsoever~ even though the title probably suggests otherwise XD Hahaha~This pic didn't take too long to draw, surprisingly >> I got kinda sloppy with the colouring and only used 1 or 2 tones for shading D: I think I spent the most time figuring out what to do for the background (haha). I was originally going to leave it white, but settled for a cheap gradient effect (ooh~ photoshop magic, ppl *o* ) My favourite part of the pic is the apple (yum yum ^^ ) and maybe L's nose (it's so weird and funny-looking~ was completely surprised how it turned out).
Hmm.. probably selling this at CNAnime...maybe...dunno... Can everybody tell who the big purple hand belongs to? You can, right? D: Ack, I know Ryuk's hands are more...claw-like and boney~ no idea why they turned out that way o__o I was inspired by the posters for the Deathnote movie where Raito's holding a floating apple and looking all evil~ [link] Personally I think Tatsuya Fujiwara's too boyish and cute to play Raito, but I have yet to see the movie...
Aaanyways~ got lots more stuff to draw! Work work work...

Not particularly a fan of Deathnote, but I love this. The hands on this are phenomenal, the depth in the shading goes quite above and beyond most anime standards, imo.
