Elegant! Nice use of the gold detail on the plain black, and the division of the background between light and dark is good composition. The left side of the dress (viewer's left) might be a little fuzzy, and the flames a bit plant-like -- some of them are bending over too much, maybe?

I like the subtle asymmetry, as if she were still coalescing, still deciding on her final form and appearance. Is there a hint of a head in the flames? Would that make her an anti-Athena?
