Mankind was closer to nuclear holocaust then ever before but then the human race learned on December 1, 2021 that they were not alone when one of their satellites sent back images of tens of thousands of UFOs near Saturn. This quickly put many of the world powers into an uneasy alliance many nations worldwide where preparing for the worst United States had been building massive fallout shelters since 2015 in case of a nuclear exchange. Over 12,000 bunkers were made(a.k.a. vaults just like in fallout) many people began to ensure their safety by buying a place to stay in these bunkers in the United States. The United States still the leading nation in space technology and exploration began to plan a way to meet these ships and on December 28, 2021 US launched Excalibur one to meet these ships near Mars. Sidenote Excalibur one was going to be the first man mission to Mars. On January 15, 2022 Excalibur one made contact with the alien fleet launched a small unmanned shuttle began hailing them in every way possible and in every language known to man. When the small shuttle reached one-mile away from one of the ships it was destroyed. By What seem to be a missile of some sort. Excalibur one was immediately ordered it back to earth but was destroyed by a missile from the ship . Excalibur one had been transmitting live feed of the Encounter to the world before it was destroyed seven astronauts and Three cosmonauts lost their lives.

Back on Earth people began to panic the People's Republic of China, Soviet Union Commonwealth nation , holy Islamic republics, United Arab kingdoms United States of America and the United provinces of America and the rest of the world fully mobilized their militaries. The ships would be entering Earth's atmosphere in less than seven days. Many of the bunkers in the United States were failed with children ages running from one through 15 along with several military personnel a doctor and 27 nurses and a maintenance crew each Bunker where self-sustaining and could hold at least 20,000 people for a good 300 years in less than three days a good 55% of the US children would not see the horrors of the war to come.

On January 22, 2022 the earth launched a massive nuclear attack on the alien fleet over 30% of the missiles shut down
. The rest of the missiles hit the fleet.The antiballistic missile shields also fired their microwave laser at the fleet. If you standing outside anywhere you would see a massive explosions in the sky 22 hours later Earth's missile shields and space stations were destroyed the last visual report on the alien fleet was that 48% of its ships were destroyed. And then the air battle began on January 23, 2022 within 19 hours the world's air forces were crippled and the land invasions began.
