Description Well, this is one of my first doodles. I used no stocks, C4Ds, renders, anything, all drawn in GIMP. I based my drawing off of an atom for the electron trails, as those are a pain to draw, though.

I used a few Technical/Sci-fi brushes to create this high-tech atmosphere, and I think it turned out nicely. Of course, this is one of my first times drawing without a Photo to manipulate, but I'd like your honest opinion - after all, how else would I get better?

Cheers,

It is actually only the Strong nuclear force that holds us together and is attractive, the electromagnetic in fact is trying to blow us apart as it is repulsive.
Also your model for atomic structure is 98 years out of date...

...If I may be so fastidious.

Great work by the way

Actually, the protons inside the atom Nucleus are charged positively, whereas the electron cloud encircling the atom is charged negatively, thus, the two are attracted to each other. The neutrons, being neutral, simply help to keep the protons from blowing away from each other. Thus, electromagnetic force contributes to holding the atom together, rather than blowing it apart. While the protons are attempting to fly away from each other, the neutrons in between leave the right amount of distance so as to lesson the repulsion.

Yeah, it's an old design, but it's more symbolic than up-to-date. It's just meant to look cool. Thanks for your kind words and thoughts.
