I always think of asian (japanese, korean...) artists as a true men of labor, polishing their works up to perfection, adding bazzilions of details, everything in a superb perspective ...I observe such works in design, illustration or picture novels... I noticed that you live in Hong Kong and I wonder if my impressions are similar to yours, are they?

Haha, same thoughts here. Asians are more or less powerful beings that polish to perfection. There are, however, some cases for Chinese, whom may produce low-quality stuff. But the money they earn is not equivalent to the effort they put in. Some might do a complete copy of Van Gogh's Starry night, but only get no more than 10 USD.

Yeah the whole world use Chinese people to do the dirty work for them, cheapest. For example here in Poland they harvest snails, and then they send them to china to take them out of their shells, and the same day, they're back in the country by plane. It's cheaper that way. That's kinda sad, but on the other hand that's the China's power. The whole american electronic industry depends on parts from china.

Ah, the chinese should understand the true value of their effort and art to make the right amount of money. Mayybe there is just too many peopel with such effort that are willing to go at a lower price.
But anyways, everywhere I go on deviantart, I see either asians or polish artists.
Either this site is popular in Poland, or these are the two major artistic people?

DA is really popular here. There is also polish version of DA which is called digart.pl, and another one dedicated only to photography plfoto.com. Both are big art comunities and lots of people participate there. I think we just love to criticise another one's works!

I'm really happy you liked it.
Acording to to my drawing techniques: I use photoshop Cs3, a tablet, and basic brushes from photoshop. To add some light effects I use masks and gradient tool. And the composition came straight from my imagination, no reference photos.
