Impressive train! Do all the locos are active for traction are there just in case? And aproximatively, how many tons does this train have?

The BNSF units are C4's so they have 4 traction motors. There is a total of 14 traction motors on all units put together. As for the ton of train, I do not know.

I think you mean 16 motors ( if there are 4 locos). Even so, there is a lot of power. And does the train runs with all the cars from one end to another, or it is leaving cars behind in different locations along the route? (more likely I'm curious for this as a general rule)

There are only 14 traction motors. The BNSF units are ES44C4's meaning they only have 4 traction motors. I don't think this train drops off cars anywhere.
