Description This photograph should probably be called 'hiddenception', in that there is something hiding within something hiding. I'll leave it up to you to see if you can find it.

I had a lot of difficulty with this one in terms of what to do with it during post-processing. I had about six different versions, and then after deciding on the one piece, I kept rotating it.

I'm content with how this has turned out, though. Let me know your thoughts.

It's definitely a lovely colour!

You're most welcome! I'm sorry it's taking me so long to comment on stuff. And haha, that is the plan... eventually! I just need to figure out what to do with the fragments I've got floating around.

No worries at all! Your reasons are totally understandable.

It does feel that way at times with literature...a huge jigsaw puzzle, I mean.

it could be a sandfly or a very small weevil. Β i'm only going off bugs from my part of the world though, so it could be something completely different

I see a tiny black bug near the center, it was one of the first things I noticed so I almost started thinking maybe it wasn't what you were talking about. But I don't see anything else worth mentioning besides leaves and stems. Am I wrong?

I honestly believe that its a picture which portrayed colors really well in this work. I didn't get - and wasn't able to find the hiddenception point in this work Sorry about that.

With that said, I really like the way you've brought the focus to the center of this photograph. Colors work really well in it, as well as the brightness and contrast provided by each and every part of this photograph is concentric in their subject matter. Its a really good job you've done.

I actually bothered looking at the photograph after downloading it, and I'll admit, that I couldn't find anything which would merit me understanding the hiddenception... I did guess that it would be a plant of sort... or a flower... but that's not what it was trying to convey.

I liked it. Featured on

Thank you very much! I did adjust the colour a bit, so it's not exactly truthful, but I do like the colours myself.

It was a good day to shoot, that's for sure! I remember it was very sunny, and luckily with this piece, there was enough shade so there is no overexposure.

Thank you very much!

The hiddenception was the bug sitting on the plant.

Its interesting how the blurred forms direct the eye towards the center with the bird feather thing, which then redirects the eye back outward (or towards the thing hidden amongst the hidden thing [which is placed quite well along a thirds line ). Another thing I noticed was how the brightest region is right beside the darkest, makes for a really good contrast.

Nicely done yo
