Description
The Fountain at Dupont Circle, Washington D.C.I took this piece using an infrared converted Canon 40D (590nm) and a lensbaby composer pro with the sweet 35 optic.
The figure there is the 'Sea'. I took a photo of the 'Wind', so that should be uploaded to DeviantArt sometime this year. Sadly, I did not take any photos of the 'Stars', mostly because the lighting put the 'Stars' in shadow.
This is the beauty of infrared photography! Similar to , this piece was taken at the height of summer; the sky was blue, the trees green and the fountain a sandy beige.

I have not explored DC fully, but I imagine there are many great locations for photography there. Every day to work, I pass the Capitol Building and think to myself that I really should go there on my off-work-days and shoot it - infrared-style.
