Remembered this work during your exhibit dog/god way back in 2005 at University of San Carlos CAFA Building, Cebu. I was still a first year college back then and i was inspired by your both you and Ivan Roxas' works. Keep up the good works Masters!!!

Looks awesome pare, but this image size can't possibly do this painting justice. how about a larger scan?

I suppose my question now is which one do you see as Sacred and which as Profane? I believe that the Titian archetype sets up the woman in white to be the Profane and and the woman more demurely dressed to be the Sacred aspect. Which is kind of unexpected.
There's a great sense of moodiness and melancholy, but it's not overstated. Nice work.

is this boat modelled from the lady of shallot by waterhouse? if so that's a great concept.

Hmm. The Profane actually looks a bit like me... Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

I wish i could see it in person. Just BEAUTIFUL!!! your use of color is gorgeous. your control of lost and found edges is very exciting to me. the inner glow which is so elusive in a painting radiates beautifully here. absolutely brilliant! Bravo!!

quite stunning image, looks so peacefull in execution, controlled, but flowing at same time, makes me think of mourning as if it was charons vessel taking one from this world to another. i like how you emphasise the duality, two sides one dark one light, 2 sides of boat, two figures, two buildings, as if there were 2 sides to every coin, 2 sides to each person, where it is opposites that unite in one. well done.
