The petition has about 250 signatures. We need 3 quarters more to reach 1,000. But that's small if we want to get 10,000.]
Now for something completely important...
Since Disney Channel "crams" their animated series on Saturday/Sunday mornings, they only air DuckTales and Big City Greens as their big "it" shows right now. Only airing once a day while their sitcoms flood the schedule. For Milo Murphy's Law it only airs twice a week on weekend mornings.
Also, seeing how they are treating Milo Murphy's Law right now, not giving a care about promoting/advertising it just in time for its Phineas and Ferb crossover the network plans to air slated in January 2019, they'll do the same with Season 4 not even caring about. By that, only air two episodes a week, compared to airing 30 repeats of 4-5 of their live-action content.
It just comes and goes giving how they only care about Bunk'd, Bizaardvark, Raven's Home, Coop and Cami Ask the World, and even Andi Mack, why do this when you have 10+ other shows DC has in their library.
And given the fact how they treated Big Hero 6: The Series and Tangled: The Series (which only aired one 20-episode season so far), they only air new episodes once and never air it again pulling it off the schedule rotation. I think they'll do the same with Star vs. the Forces of Evil despite having 56 episodes in its collection right now. It's more like a comes-and-goes situation.
I once asked Chris Houghton about this, and therefore the creators of our favorite animated series have no control over Disney Channel's schedule. Their cartoons are top-tier than just sitcoms with bland stereotypes, laugh tracks, and corny jokes.
I said to him: I don’t like how Disney Channel is treating Big City Greens. They would only air one episode a day at 2:30 PM while most of the show’s target audience is at school. And airing only once on Saturday and Sunday morning (even if it’s a new episode), while most of their schedule is filled with live action stuff. Mostly their laugh tracks filled sitcoms. I wish the show can have more air time especially in the afternoon/nighttime slots. Bunk’d is no match for the Greens.
Houghton said: "Sadly I have no control over how often BCG is aired. But give Disney a shout! Shoot them a tweet (disneychannel ) or comment on their Instagram (disneychannel )! It may feel like you’re screaming into the void but believe me, it makes a difference! Please be kind and polite but let them know what you want to see more of!"
To paraphrase, spread the word! You like Tangled, Big Hero 6, Milo Murphy, DuckTales, Big City Greens, reruns of Gravity Falls and Phineas and Ferb, give Disney Channel a chance! Tweet! Comment! Anything!
