It's been a while since I've done a 'serious' illustration hasn't it?
A majority of my drawing time for the past few months was on a client project which I'm
to talk about when it comes out later this summer.Some of you may remember this fellow from here:
I went ahead and developed it out (as I kind of thought I always would)
Will be debuting this as a 12x18" print at Gaslight Gathering and all my shows after (check my front page for latest listings). Hope to see you at one of them...!

Oh gosh! I'm late to commenting but wow! I remember when you came up with those designs in art slam, they're still great. This guy has such a wonderful design! I love his big head and his tiny glasses, he's adorable.

Hahah, well I use a little bit of photo-sampling, but it's a supplemental step to the overall piece.

It's done so well though, it's subtle and the texture doesn't overpower the picture at all. Keep up the good work!

The show is THIS. WEEKEND.
Yes, last year it was in October and the year before that it was in September. *And* this year there's a Gaslight Expo in the fall (basically they created a second event with a similar-sounding name)
It's a bit rushed for me(?) to be doing it in May, but I plan to have fun there.
