Jack, age 15

It was just another day at school.
He got through his classes, hung around his small group of friends during lunch then headed out front after the end of school bell.
Like every other Tuesday, Aunt DeeDee was waiting for him in her red mustang convertible.  She was wearing a pretty yellow sundress and her long brown hair was pulled back in ponytail.  Jack gave a wave in the direction of a random call of his name then slid into the seat beside her.
Aunt DeeDee glanced over with disapproval at his attire before looking back to the traffic as she carefully pulled out of the school parking lot.
"Take off your jacket, will you, Jackie?"
The teenager smirked, pulling down the passenger side mirror to make sure he looked okay.  Things looked just fine to him – hair was good, well loved but cool looking black jacket, clean black pants and high top converse.
"Why?"  He asked flippantly returning the mirror to its former position.
Aunt DeeDee spared her nephew and his jacket a longer look as she pulled up at the corner light.
"It's 85 degrees out here.  You're making me hot."
Jackie met her gaze with a charming smile.
"That's what all the girls say."
His Aunt laughed out loud and didn't remark on the jacket again though Jackie received a hair ruffling for his effort.
