Kaito looked down at the girl in his arms. Dying. Only one thought went through his mind. 'Miku, don't die.' He was crying already - not even five minutes he was in here, and already the tears were spilling over his cheeks. "Miku, Miku, please." He begged her. "Don't die, please..." He cried over and over again.

Miku smiled softly at the blue haired boy, "Kaito..." She whispered quietly, staring up at him. Her perfect teal eyes sparkling, up at him. It was her last few moments, and she was spending them with one of the closest people to her, somebody she loved too much.

"Don't, please..." He begged again. "I...I can't lose you." He said, holding her even closer, if that was even possible. But he didn't know where he'd be without her - he'd be a nervous wreck, that's what. Not only he would suffer - all the other Vocaloids. All the fans. Everyone involved with Miku would be upset. And only God knows what Mikuo would do when he found out. All hell would break loose, and Luka would be first on the list to die. Then, Kaito himself would be next.

"Itll be okay." Her eyes closing slowly, "I.. will be in.. a place where.." She said as Miku's heart monitor started beeping fast and Rin ran over to Miku and grabbed her hand, squeezing it with all might and biting her lip hard, as it slowed down again.

Kaito began crying again, tears flowing down in a now uncontrollable speed. "No. Miku. No..." He said, trying not to break down on himself. "You can't leave me..." He said, his anger beginning to build. Why the hell was this happening to him? Why couldn't someone less important to the Vocaloids be taken instead of Miku? But then again, the Vocaloids were a family - all for one and one for all. It just hurt him. So much.

"Everything.. will be okay.." She said again, as she held out her hand for him to take, it was limp. But it would work, her hand was faintly in response. Miku loved him as well, but this was her own fate. Everybody died, on a special day, and this day was Miku's.

Kaito took her hand, pressing it to his non-beating, robotic heart. "Miku-chi..." He said, a sob running through him. "God, please don't die." He whispered, his voice thick with the tears in his eyes. He knew that if Miku died here, today, it wouldn't take him long to end his own life.

Miku smiled her faint grip beginning to fade away, as she turned her head to the left near Kaito and began to close her eyes as her smile faded away as well, she was beginning to die. Everybody ran not near, but giving Kaito space.

"No, Miku...No!" He said, kissing her. This couldn't be happening. But he was kissing her in her last moments - that would be perfect for him - to know that just maybe she'd be with him in her last moments. "I love you." He whispered to her as he broke the kiss he had started.

Miku opened her eyes slightly just little teal slits, as she raised her weak hand and placed it on Kaito's cheek. "I will always be with you Kaito, I love you too." She said, unknowing of his intentions.

Kaito sighed out, in relief and in sadness. "Miku...I swear, I'll be with you soon." He told her, totally meaning it. "Just wait for me." He whispered again. He lifted her head up closer to him so he could rest his head in the crook of her neck. It was an affectionate action for even him - he was affectionate in general, but never as intimate as that.

Miku closed her eyes again as the thing made a loud beep, and that was it. The famous Miku Hatsune, was gone. Everybody started bawling, as Rin smashed into her brother as Trinity stroked Love's hair and cried herself.

Kaito's eyes widened. He let go of Miku and fell to his knees on the ground. She was gone. Those three words echoed in his mind, as his senses slowly began to black out. Len comforted Rin with words of comfort whispered in her ear as he rubbed her back. Love was bawling - sobbing so hard it rattled her to the depths of her bones - all the way to the marrow. Kaito couldn't think, couldn't speak, it was over. Miku was gone.

Rin wanted so badly to comfort Kaito, but she stayed with Len as Trinity kissed her head softly and rocked Love. It was over. Before they knew it, it was night.

Kaito still hadn't moved. His eyes were wide, staring at the floor. It didn't even look like he was breathing. He didn't take note of his churning stomach, which was both hungry and nauseous. Miku wasn't here. And she was his lifeline. Love had cried out all her tears - and had went upstairs to check on Kaito. But he was in the same spot, in the same way. "K-Kaito..." She whispered, and he didn't respond. She didn't know what to do as she simply stood frozen in the doorway.

Trinity walked up as well, carrying Miku's clothes, which still smelled deeply like fresh fruits and clean air, which was one of the many things about Miku that just made her amazing. Trinity stopped and walked up to Kaito past Love and handed her outfit out to him, "I..I.. want.. you to keep it Kai." She said to her brother.

Kaito couldn't say anything. He nodded though, which only sent a wave of relief through his stiff neck. He laid down in Miku's bed, holding the clothes to himself - breathing in her scent. "Miku..." he whispered to himself.

Trinity walked out, glancing at her brother then looking down and wrapping her arm around her waist and lightly pushing Love out and closing the door. And when he did a little note fell out, which was a lovenote she planned to give to him. It even had a picture of a leek over icecream, and a chibi face going '^o^'

Kaito noticed the sound of the paper on the floor. He turned his head slightly, able to read it from the long distance. He looked at it, reading at it. "Miku..." He whispered again, crying once more. He curled himself in Miku's bedsheets.

The note had said her feelings for him, after they shot 'Canterella'. It said how she loved him and adored him. Miku even had a plushie for each vocaloid on her bed, and particularly, each one paired up.

Kaito cried so much. He couldn't help it. "Oh god, Miku...Why." He said to himself, a sob in between each word. He needed to be with her. He sat up, taking the note into his hands. He read it, over and over and over. Tears spilling over, and one falling between the leek and the ice cream on it. How ironic.

It almost felt like she was there too, as a pressure on Kaito's shoulders arrived just how Miku used to hug him from behind all the time. Trinity stood in the bathroom, washing her face to make sure Love wouldn't see her crying.

Kaito tried not to cry again. He looked up, trying to see who was hugging him like this - the way Miku always did. It was a special way of an embrace to him. He sighed out, another sob following.

It was almost like Miku was with him there, but she wasn't. Her teal and white striped walls and posters lurked on the walls, without her bright aurora, making everything better. The room was grey and dark, and it was pouring.

Kaito sobbed loudly. He was surprised a bit that no one was there. He whispered her name over and over. It repeated in the darkness. And the rain definitely wasn't helping the situation.

Miku always kept her room messy, but since the girls cleaned it out, it wasnt anymore. Like they completley got rid of her, as a voice was heard outside the door talking to sombody, "Should we get rid of Miku's journal? Just get rid of her memory?" Then a "Yeah." Was heard.

Kaito heard this. He wouldn't let that happen. Never in a million millennia would he let that happen. He would be in this room for a while. And if he killed himself here, no one would find him. No one would find out. And that just spurred on his unusual desire to just plainly end his life, right there and then.

It had to be obviously, Dell Honne and Kuki Meguro, two HATING vocaloids, who despised Miku. Utau's. Then, the thing was heard, "We need to get rid of the necklace Kaito gave her too."

Kaito got up, anger burning in his eyes. From blue to a raging red - not literally, of course. He stood strong, ready to kick their asses so hard, they'd be tasting designer leather for a week.

Miku never wore it for a reason, because she didn't wanna ruin it. But now they just crossed the line.

Kaito saw as the door opened to them. And he stood, trying to look bigger than he was. "Get the fuck out." He said, full of hate towards them.

"K-Kaito..?" Dell said, "Whats wrong?" He asked, unknowing he was in Miku's room. They we're holding the now broken necklace that couldent repaired.

"You..." Kaito began to burn with rage. "What the fuck did you do to that fucking necklace?!" He practically screamed, advancing a step towards them. His eyes filled with hate towards them.

They backed up a bit, "W-Well we ripped it apart.. why?" Kuki asked, an innocent voice on as the necklace was trashed, everything broken. The last piece of Miku that Kaito could keep forever. That and her memory.

Kaito advanced on him, punching him straight across the face, as hard as he could. And that was saying something. He snatched the necklace away from them, looking at it, trying to figure out if anyone could fix it. Maybe Love could, she made jewellery. "You assholes." He spat, with disdain on his tongue.

Dell fell back as Trinity ran out and pulled Kaito back softly and hissed at them aswell, "Leave. Now." She said as they walked out and Trin hugged him, "Im sorry they broke it, Love can fix it.. maybe.. I hope."

Kaito clung to his younger sister. "Please take this to her and ask her." He whispered, his anger dying down for a moment. He held the broken pieces out to Trinity. "I just pray she can fix it."

"Do you wanna come?" She asked as she looked at him.

Kaito nodded. He held the pieces in his hands, as he followed Trinity to where Love was. Fiddling with her jewellery in her and Trin's room. He looked down at the pieces, and Love looked up, frowning and her expression softened and saddened. "Oh no, Miku's necklace..." She said, taking the pieces from Kaito. She looked at it for a moment. And after about ten minutes, some glue, two pairs of tongs, and a little bit of skill in the craft and handywork, it was like new. She ran a cleaning cloth over it, making it shine.

Trinity smiled, "My girlfriend just pwns Jared." Trying to make Kaito at least smile. As she looked down.

Kaito took the necklace back, smiling at Love. It would be his last smile. He thanked them both, going back to Miku's room. And there, he locked the door behind himself. He wrapped the necklace around his wrist, and then, slowly, took his shirt off (I know, Ari. Keep quiet.). He closed his eyes, as he figured out how to open his chest to where his main energy source was. The non-beating, robotic heart he hated to have. And then, without thinking, he took it out, and destroyed it. And then, his eyes slipped closed and he was dead. Figuratively and literally.

Trinity walked over to Miku's room to wash the sheets and saw the door was locked and the last person in there.. was Kaito. "Kai, open." She said, pushing on it. Then beginning to get nervous, "..K-Kai?!" She said kneeing the door then, a yell "Love!" She screamed as Rin ran up too. It was Kaito's turn to see Miku at the end of the path.

Again the Vocaloid house was submerged in crying - remembering the good times that now didn't exist anymore. It was ridiculous how much loss they'd experienced in the last forty eight hours. And elsewhere, Kaito did finally see Miku again. They were on their way to the path to heaven. "I told you it wouldn't take me long." He whispered as she was in his arms.

Everything, gone. Miku saw Kaito as her eyes we're wide.. "K-Kaito~!?" She didnt know why he was here. "Why.." She said, hugging him tightly, her long blue hair down and wearing a silk white dress much something heavenly, her headphones white and having angel wings on them.

"I had to be with you." He whispered simply. His outfit had changed too - something that looked like a white suit. Yet his blue scarf still rested upon his neck and shoulders. He smiled at his hand, and he put his hands around her neck, closing the clasp and lowering the fragile necklace onto her chest. "Love fixed it. Dell broke it, but...it looks amazing on you." He said, straying from the first subject.

"Kaito.." She said as she looked down at it, as she gripped the charm and looked back at him, "H-..How did you get here?" She asked, holding his hand and looking up at him.

"...I died." He said simply. He caressed her cheek gently, smiling. "I'm here with you. That's all that matters to me right now." He said as he nuzzled her cheek to his. It was surreal.

"Kaito.. did you.. kill yourself?" She asked, wrapping her arms around his upper back and her eyes narrowing slightly in a good way.

Kaito wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her closer. "I had to see you." Which was his explanation. His blue eyes shone looking into the teal orbs that he knew as Miku's.

She stared up at him, if she was normal again, she'd bonk him in the head. But instead she nodded and kissed his cheek softly. As she took him closer in her arms.

Kaito sighed with relief as he aimed to kiss her on the cheek, but caught the corner of her mouth instead. But he did that on purpose. Then he kissed her full on the lips. "God, Miku. I love you." He said smiling at the delicate girl he loved so much.

"I love you as well." Miku said, kissing him back a bit deeply. Now they could be together forever, in their own little piece of heaven. She took his hand and moved away, As the door opened and she looked up to him, she was waiting. She didn't go in without him either. She did listen, she was there. Waiting for him to meet up with her, and now, they could be protecting each other forever. No problems at all, this was it. And it was most a happily ever after for the two.
