For the weekly theme at which is fire.I didnt want to just do the obvious and throw fire around all over the place, but I wanted fire to be the most important thing in the scene.
Wolves are afraid of fire, so in this scenario, that flaming torch is the only thing keeping them at bay ... for a while at least, eek!

A well staged scene with a captivating atmosphere and storytelling aspect about it. The perspective from between the wolves shoulders is a nice touch and certainly enhances the scene even more.

Well, I'm seeing a face in the flames which leads me to believe that there is sorcery involved. There's a whole story revolving around this picture and you see much more going on the more you look at it. As always, well done! I see many faves for this piece!

Stunning work, as always. I know you're likely gettting tired of me going on, and on...and on, so I'll just stick to the bullet points.
*Amazing work with the foreground and background. The forest surround, sunset, mountain backdrop, and the wolves look outstanding.
*The Women are stunning. But, come on, at this point when it comes to your work that's always a given. What's really great are the outfits. The Torch bearer in particular is gorgeous. Love the cape/hood combination. Really plays off the "Ranger" vibe she gives. The whole scene is very Conan-ish, but...I don't know, I get a little Lord of Rings from it as well. Awesome

I actually love your comment, because as I was making this scene I was at times struck by both Age of Conan and Lord of the Rings. Also as I added the cloak and hood to the torch bearer (as we shall call her) I couldnt help thinking 'Ranger' and 'if Aragorn had been female ... haha. Its really nice to see that what I have in mind is translating well into the finished image and people like your good self are able to pick up on the elements I am trying to emphasize.
