I agree with Totin, the work itself vaguely reminds me of Joseph Kosuth's classic "One and Three Chairs" and looks pretty awesome but the text draws away from the aesthetic.

Hi,
My name is Luis Monteiro and I would like to ask permission to use one of your photos.
I've decided to put to good use all the long hours that I spend in the internet just looking for beautiful photos and all of the great work that people post here and so I created a photo magazine, well... it's in a magazine format, but I don't want to have the pre-conditions of a magazine... so let's call it just a zine.
I have made a number #0, just as a trial to test the layout and adjust it from all the comments I've been receiving...etc... and so far I've already published a couple of issues about several subjects that I find interesting about photography.
The "zine" is called DOF and you can find it here (www.dofzine.com), the #0 only features some of my photos, but the idea is to have guest photographers and everything that is a good example of a great photography work. In this next issue I'll focus on photos with a minimalist expression, and I would like to feature your photos as part of a selection I'm making about this topic. Well... that's pretty much it.

Bu fotograf benim icin donum noktasi gibidir. Dikkat ederseniz bundan sonraki fotograflarin cogunda da ayni konu hakim (oldukca sakin bi kadraj ve tek obje) LINAS tan oldukca etkilenmistim o donem ve hala da etkilenmeye devam ediyorum. Estagfurullah efenim...Bu tarz meselesi hakkaten son zamanlarda dusundugum bir konu...Belki de benim tarzimda her tarzdan fotolari cekmemdir...Guzel gordugum seyi, guzelden ote sevdigim seyi cekmek...Tarz sahibi olmak tehlikeli gorunuyor bazen...Cunku izlediklerimden cogunda tekrardan ote gidemiyor...Herkes icin degil elbet...Bu da beni sıkıyor ve o fotografciyi izlemiyorum bir sure sonra...Ben sizin gorusunuze katilmiyorum...Benim fikrim "kisinin illa bir tarzi olmasina gerek yoktur, boyle de yasayabilir, ama olmasi da kotu bisey deildir dusuncesini benimsemis bulunmaktayim"...Bu benim fikrim tabi sizi baglamaz

Begenmene sevindim. Benim de en sevdigim karelerimdendir. Karli bir ogleden sonra cekmistim galiba. Kullandigim makina Sony P-100 iyi bir makine olmadigina emin olabilirsin, idare ediyor sagolsun. Hakkini yemeyelim.

This is lovely, clean, simple and very well composed. However I guess the only thing that brings it down a little for me is the title. But other than that great work.
