Francesca Jordan, America's first giantess Navy SEAL, as well as it's first female Navy SEAL in general, stands guard over the Capitol Building after its recent takeover by Trump supporting rioters. With her battleship gun sized M4 slung across her chest and some towering combat boots on her feet, Lt. Cmdr. Jordan was certainly an intimidating presence. Thus, the DOD was quick to give her command over the defence of the halls of government. And tough she certainly appreciates the assistance of the tiny helicopters, soldiers, and police officers, she doesn't really need it now does she?

The Trump supporters looted and rioted in the Capitol. They broke into the senate and house chambers with the intent to murderer congressmen. Had this been BLM and the black block (not using a generalized term such as "antifa") the death toll would have been much much higher then four people. These are people who's entire ideology is based around Trump. They were willing to die to defend his bullshit claims. Not to mention many of those BLM protests were peaceful there was a solid study that tracked it and came to the conclusion that 97% were peaceful. When it comes to the black block the only thing they are is meant to be a defensive violence to counter right wing attacks, usually instigated by neo Nazis and the proud boys. The cops didn't do shit. In fact this was a great example of the double standard at play you compare how the portland police and fed handle the black block to what happend in DC. It's a night and day difference. Why? Because police are often sympathetic towards ideologies that are authoritarian. Not to mention the police were far less brutal towards the Trump supporters compared to how they would have handled this if it were black block or BLM.
If we want to talk about looting and the differences here there are several. The biggest bit of irony is that the trump supporters who looted the Capitol will have much harsher prisons sentences then they expect because of a law their dear leader signed during the george Floyd protests. There are arguments to be made as to what needs to be done on a structural level. This should not have happened at all. Trump needed to concede the day of the election and instead he egged on his own supporters railed them to the point where they were willing to kill congressmen. He has blood on his hands the blood of his own supporters.
Not to mention on a larger note this perfectly fuels the argument for defund the police for the simplist reason, these cops literally couldn't stop an attempted coup! So what good are they. Why aren't we putting money into resources such has mental health facilities? Or fixing our broken and underfunded public education system? Why the fuck did the disinformation on the election get so bad that 5 people died! 5 people are dead! And for fucking what? So a damned liar can try to hold on to power that he no longer has any right to hold. I'm beyond angry that we are even having this conversation. 5 people died in this damn thing! I don't know how other leftists view this. But as one myself the loss of any life is tragic I don't care if it's my ideological enemy or my ally. This was a human being who was brainwashed so much so that it lead to this!. 🤬😡

It’s crazy. It’s like the political views flipped overnight. I remember when the federal agents defending the courthouse in Portland was the worst thing in the world. Meanwhile the side that’s usually blue lives matter beat a cop in the head with a fire extinguisher. I don’t get it. (Despite what the profile pic may suggest, I am from the USA, so I’m not a complete outsider looking in)
