Description Something small i did when i was at my grandma's a couple weekends ago for the funeral. It was a relief work, something to get my mind off the events

It was done in Faber Castel Ink pens and Watercolor Pencil crayons.
It was my first time using a Japanese water brush, which i have to say is very handy.

How do you like the watercolour pencil crayons? I have them, but I haven't actually ever used them as watercolour.

They're okay, they can sometimes be difficult to contol when you lay the water down. Most are very highly saturated too, so they are good for bold parts, but poor for soft washes. Probably their best use is to make certain parts of the image more opaque or to add in details/blend colors.

My own experience with them is not that good (since i rarely touch them because i have a nice set of watercolor tubes )

Ah ok, thanks. I have watercolour tubes too. But since I'm busy most of the time, I end up either just doing pencil sketches or using pencil crayon. Plus, I don't practice watercolour much either...
