Kepler passed away on the 23rd of July, 2019, from complications due to FIP. Feline Infectious Peritonitis is a viral disease that occurs worldwide in wild and domestic cats. It is caused by a type of virus called a coronavirus, which tends to attack the cells of the intestinal wall. Kepler's mother was feral before being brought to the rescue centre, and we suspect that he got the disease from her. He was only with us for a few months but he really touched our lives.
