I had a friend named Bernard (approximately pronounced behr-nawhr in French) and his cat used to say his name. It was the funniest thing , she would stroll into the living room of his apartment and loudly call out "bear-now!" No one had told me, the first time I heard it, and it was plain as day to me

But we did tease him relentlessly, and I can't remember his last name anymore, but assuming it was "Doe," we started addressing the cat as "Madame Doe." This was long before I became an enlightened feminist of course.

Yeah, I thought about it a few times, to send to that funniest videos TV show, but no one I knew then had a video camera. I think I recorded her with my cassette recorder once, but even if I did that tape is probably long gone. This happened while I was still in college and, well, let's just say that was a while ago!

Ah c'est vraiment génial, les chats. Je suis allé dépanner l'ordinateur de quelqu'un Lundi soir et après l'opération alors qu'on discutait, les moments où je ne caressais la minette de la maison, elle me donnait des petits coups de tête pour attirer mon attention vers sa gamelle à moitié vide. J'ai eu beau lui dire que je n'étais pas la personne à qui s'adresser, elle a insisté ^^ .
