Another one in the Hardy and Co 19th century atlas series.
The Batavian Republic is a nation that is effectively TTL's Canada standin, right down to the fact that part of the country is still owned by the "mother country". The Batavian Republic is the product of combining VOC territory with so-called "crown land", and has its capital at Batavia. It has no particular relation to the Napoleonic nation other than that the main language is Dutch.

You may start to notice something by this (second) map, namely that there are probably going to be roughly a billion PODs for this timeline. The reason is that I just want to mess around into a semi-coherent storyline through the eyes of some Brits in 1902.
