Description A sketch of Nectar Feeding cows (specific species unknown) showing off their brightly colored horns and sacs, which help produce the deep, rumbling trumpet sounds that can be felt from many miles away, over mountains and vast forests of towering trees. They are likely communicating with another herd of cows.

Giant Nectar Feeders don't typically travel in herds and only gather after breeding season, when the calves are being born. All the sisters work together to defend the calves for almost a decade until they are grown up, and after wards get a couple of months to themselves to focus on feeding before they meet the bulls again. They don't communicate to each other to claim territory, but rather to actually have a discussion and out of genuine curiosity. As stated before, they aren't violent animals and are peaceful in general.

I enjoy to look at this one, it beautifully conveys the concept of these creatures!
I could picture some watercolors to go with it, but it works as a sketch fine as well
(to be very nitpicky, because you asked for constructive criticism somewhere,
the one to the left might be placed less ideal than the other ones, regarding the composition
it seems like the legs should be seen or it's leaning too far forwards, also the eye meets the trunk of the middle one this way)
Keep up the great work!

Ah yes I see what you mean, and watercolors would truly bring them out, especially to convey the brightness of their strange features. I'm still getting used to inking and proper sketching, but watercolors will happen one day!

I see what you mean. The way I place things in my drawing is similar to a picture taken in, say, a crowd...people won't be perfectly placed away from each other, some faces will overlap the others in recent random places. However, I do see what you mean, I can see how it can appear unpleasant to the eye of the beholder. It does give off an "Eh? Why does it have to be there of all places" vibe.

Thanks!

You're placement is definitely not bad and if you want it to be
a bit chaotic and natural go for it. Yet it's part of the beauty of
drawing and painting to give complete controle over such decisions.
Also, regarding the watercolors, it was just something that seemed fitting,
but I totally get the focus on ink and sketching (honestly I'm doing exactly the same^^)
hopefully it was a bit helpful anyways

and yet again, keep it up, those are great drawings!
