Within minutes, the strange bracelets he had found on the beach had coated the poor fisherman in a viscous cocoon of tarlike rubber, transforming his meager body into the powerful form of a Sea Prince. His wiry torso is now like a strongman's, and a massive tail 20 feet long has swallowed his legs whole, which thrashes the sand. He pulls desperately at the congealing rubber that smothers his face, but the cloying mask only stretches before snapping back tighter. Meanwhile the powerful, bulging muscles that have enveloped his form pulsate and dig into his body, trying to dissolve his skin and meld with him permanently. This sticky second skin that has glued to his form will soon overpower him for good, making him just a puppet in the reborn merman's overpowering will. Together they will be a Prince of the Deep, under one animal will seeking only to transform and propagate. Forever.
