It's not just energy based, it's far more complex than that as it generates temperatures that're MILLIONS of times hotter than the Sun. Something that no other DBZ character can simply reflect as it works on a different level.

Glad to see you're back! This was one of my favorite comics to read. I haven't seen Beerus this roughed up since his baseball game with Champa. Speaking of which, I wonder what Champa would say to all of this if he were watching. Probably make fun of Beerus for getting this beat up by a guy in a blue suit with a fancy cape.
