Sorry this is REALLY tall! You might have to download it for the full view. It's the background for a classic arcade-style space shooter game. Actually, it's five layers of background that are meant to be parallaxed if we have time to implement that. But for now they still look good flattened like this.
There are so many things I've found about space shooters that look brilliant even though they are dead simple to make. This was one of them. It's actually really sloppy, but the subject matter allows or that. It took about 2.5 hours, and that includes the fact that all four layers can slide over each other and still look right.
More game art is soon to come! Although not much of it looks quite this stellar (pun intended).
