"C'mon, Let's have fun! Wait, where are you going? Promise I won't be too clingy..."

No one knows where exactly Genki came from before she made her residence in a clothes drawer in the middle of a crowded Aramile Beach. Her memory is a bit sketchy but she says that she used to live in the undersea city. Her living conditions were a bit better, but she still lived in poverty. Despite that she still had her optimistic attitude. Her bullies would make fun of her Pollyanna ways and "dumbass smile". Eventually after a string of bad luck, she was forced to move to land where she was safe.

Because of her harsh life, She tends to be very, very affectionate to anyone who treats her with a mote of kindness, much to the dismay of many of the land dwellers who'd rather die than to be associated with a sea creature. Not helping matters is her ability to breath on land no problem, which made people even more suspicious… The only person that has shown her genuine love, is a certain beetle named Heracule ...

She is intensely fascinated with land-dweller culture, especially their food. Wholeheartedly believes that she is an octopus, not a squid (yet doesn't even know what's in takoyaki...)
