8 Foot Tall Demon from the Darkest Forest, Hugo
"Hm-hm-hm.. Looks like I finally found my first meal..."

Even though he’s an adder, he has the size and appetite of a boa constrictor. He lives in the Dark Forest of the Eastern Zone. He is Mirion’s biggest rival. He only eats every few months, but before then, he needs to eat A LOT. This is why Mirion is worried about him. Typically he’d would just been seen as some greedy beast, but he might be a bigger threat than expected. He say he only hunts for food, but lately he’s becoming more and more sadistic… He almost never uses his poison bite, and instead uses his big body and tail to suffocate his victims. Allegedly he likes the feel of squeezing someone’s skin against his body.

His gluttonous interior is contrasted by his stoic and polite exterior. Even while he’s invading homes for lunch or swallowing someone alive, he still manages to keep an odd sense of formality. This makes people more trusting of him and easier to give in to his orders. While Hugo usually prefers his food to be fresh and hunted, when he gets extra hungry, he’ll even raid house pantries and mug travelers for their food. Sometimes completely giving up his usual formalities and just eating the hapless civilians alive.

"But It's the law of nature to eat or be eaten!" "Survival of the fittest!" He's already been locked up for his deeds many times already. He's still trying to take off his heavy chains from last time. And frankly, Hugo is sick of it all. He thinks the animals of the Eastern Zone are becoming too civilized and are losing their primal instincts. He's a beast for beast's sake, and he is fine with that.
