Description
Trying to design a modernized Gigan that could fit the Legendary Monsterverse I made this little side experiment where I took the cyborg nature of Gigan even further, covering its biological tissues in a fitted metal exoskeleton or armor similar to the EVA units of Neon Genesis Evangelion. I thought it would be cool in a movie if Gigan got free from the control of its alien overlords and proceeded to rip off this metal armor revealing the classic green and gold scaled monster.

For the head shape of gigan I looked at large predatory avians such as eagles and the giant petrel, which I thought were a pretty good match for the original design.
