Why? Because I thrive on drama.
Tales of Monkey Island is officially AWESOME. I love Morgan, and this scene made me go "What? Morgan? WHAT? NOOOOO!!" My friend said I'm probably the only person on the planet who gave a crap, but I know I can't be the only lame fangirl in the world. 
For the record, the last time I was going "NOOOO!" at my computer was when I was first playing Grim Fandango a million years ago. The scene with Lola in the lighthouse. So yay for another game making me go "NOOOOO!"
I drew this on my tablet at like 1am after finishing the game on a fangirly high.
Can't wait for "Rise of the Pirate God"!

Well at least she was able to come back at the end. That Voodoo lady always seems like one of those characters you couldn't outright trust or distrust.

Plus it is a quite unusual element in Monkey Island/LucasArts games. And I'm telling that about a game series with dead (Murray etc.) and undead (LeChuck etc.) people
It's a very touching, sad moment in this game. And not over the top IMO.

I finished TOMI this week and when that scene came out I was like NOOOOAR!!!
I loved Morgan and Guybrush's relationship during the game and obviously this part made me shake. I did a fan art of them too but in a happier fashion. Just for the good old times they spent together.
BTW you just captured the scene perfectly. God it was so sad!

While I'm not a supporter of Guybrush+Morgan pairing, I do LOVE their relationship. And this piece is very well done. I love drama as well, and I adored how Morgan developed deeper feelings for Guybrush, even while he acted like a dork and talked about Elaine constantly.
Question: did she kiss his cheek before she died? Or was she trying to whisper something? I couldn't tell exactly

D: I was bubbling and whimpering; the works!! Especially because I got an antivirus update half way through the freakin' scene, because I forgot to turn the internet off XD Gah!
I'm so so so excited to see what happens next! I really didn't expect that at all O_O I've been so excited in between all the chapters; it's such a gripping addictive storyline. And I love all the little in game references <3 I was so freakin' over the moon when I heard that a new Monkey Island game had been released; they certainly haven't disappointed!
And what a great homage to the games your lovely fanarts are! Keep up the great work! I love the expressions and mood lighting here...*sniff* great work <3333 I won't fave right now, because it'll likely annoy my fellow Monkey Island fans who haven't completed it up to chapter four yet :3 AHHH to heck with it, *faves* <333

Trust me love, your not the only one who cared! Morgans my new fave character of the Monkey Island series, seeing her die... Well, I took it harder then the ending, since we pretty much know Guybrush will be back in someway or another. Morgan's body did disappear... But will we see her again? I hope so x____x

I got really attached to her during the course of the games, so when she died I was like "NOOOO!!!!" I really hope we see her again too. Maybe De Singe's potion can bring her back, or the next episode will be set in the afterlife or something. Either way, I'll miss her if we don't see her. ^_^;

I loved the end!! Alot of people are speculating that the next one will take place in the afterlife. Or maybe someone will bring them both back with De Singe's Joi De Vivre (most likely spelt very very wrong)?
