"Here take this." The white hedgehog dropped a nut into Relic's mouth. "Okay now chew and swallow." Relic weakly chewed and swallowed it. Seconds after swallowing it he bounced up with energy.

"Man I feel gre-"Relic quickly flipped back and assumed a defensive stance. "Okay, now just who are you?"

"I'm Silver and I'd give a little more respect since I just saved your life along with your friends." Silver gestured towards a beaten Cyber and Slip-Dash. "Oh and here's your bag." Silver tossed it to Relic.

"Okay, I think I remember hearing about you. Didn't you try to kill, then help my dad back in that terrible game of Sega's?" Relic asked.

Silver sighed. "Sadly yes. Why Sega, why must you have made me slow slow in that game?" Silver yelled to the sky.

Relic shrugged and dropped a nut into Cyber's mouth. "The only real problems I saw were you being slow and Elise… ugh I don't want to mention it." Cyber opened her eyes and slowly came up. "Hey welcome back Cyber."

"Yeah now who's that?" Cyber pointed at Silver.

"Cyber, Silver, Silver, Cyber. Silver's on our side and he saved all of… oh man…" Relic zoomed over to Slip-Dash and dropped the nut in her mouth. Slip-Dash then punched Relic in the face and sprung up as Relic held his hands over his face. "OW! What was that for?"

"Sorry, force of habit, now who's that guy?"

"Oh that's Silver, he saved our lives when we got beaten." Relic turned around as Silver approached. "Hey, do you know what's going on with Nova, Sabios, and those other guys?"

"That's just what I was about to tell you. We all might as well sit down and get comfortable." They all sat down in a circle in the grass.

"Okay, so Nova had the 'brilliant' idea to try and conquer the world again. The one thing she did know is that she needed help if she was ever going to accomplish that. So she found some of the most evil people she could find and they now formed an alliance. Nova's the leader from what I can tell. Her partners are Snively, Neo Doom, Sabios, and Slate. Snively fights similar to Nova in that they're both human and use robots to fight instead of themselves. Slate fights by taking over someone else's body and using their powers. Sabios fights with speed and power like you Relic. Neo Doom has the deadliest army, the Black Arms and will fight himself sometimes. All five of them combined will prove to be the biggest challenge yet."

"Great, as if Nova alone wasn't bad enough now she's got some serious help." Cyber sighed.

A green hedgehog with gunmetal and black armor jumped from behind a pillar. He appeared to also have two chemical tanks on his back and dual gauntlets on his hands with other high tech stuff. Relic freaked out and ran behind a rock.

Slip-Dash created a metal spear and aimed it at the intruder. "Now who do we have here?"

The hedgehog grinned and held up one hand. "I'm your worst nightmare." A blast of chemicals hit the spear and started to dissolve it. "Does that answer your question?"

"No, but this will." Silver raised his arm and began to glow with a sea-green aura. The hedgehog then began to glow the same aura and started floating in the air.

"Hey, put me down or I'll-" Silver slammed him to the ground, leaving a small crater. "Okay you win."

Silver raised him up again. "Now who are you really? And don't say 'your worst nightmare' or you'll be saying hello to the ocean."

The hedgehog bit his lip. "Okay fine, I'm Contagion, and I shall torture you for the rest of your lives. Mwhahaha!" He began to laugh maniacally.

Relic came out from behind the rock. "Well we're a little busy trying to save the world here."

Contagion shrugged. "And how does that affect me?"

Cyber sighed. Because if we don't, everyone will be dead and then you couldn't torture anyone."

Contagion just stared at her. "...Okay fine I'll help, but only so I can torture you later."

Slip-Dash turned around after hearing a low humming sound. "Hey guys, it looks like we have company." Everyone turned to see three massive floating battleships heading to the city.

"Now how are we supposed to get on those ships!?" Cyber questioned aloud.

"I could use my telekinetic abilities to fling us there, but we could miss and fall on the ground." Silver suggested.

"Or we could use this cannon I found while you guys were figuring out what to do." Relic pointed out.

Everyone turned to look at him. "Well why didn't you say something earlier?" Contagion asked.

"Well the cannon's damaged and I don't know how to fix it. Anyone know how to?"

Contagion started walking ahead of everyone. "Well lead the way, or do I have to find it myself?"

"Oh, sorry. You all better come too." They followed Relic away from the altar.

The group arrived to see an old, battered cannon that appeared to have moss growing on it.

"Are you sure this thing is safe?" Cyber asked worryingly.

"It will be once I fix it." Contagion walked over to the cannon. "Now I'll need an assistant to bring me my tools."

Silver stepped forward. "Okay I'll help."

Relic walked over to the cannon and smiled. "I remember my dad using these to stop Eggman. Ah memories." Relic's stomach growled. "Okay, does anyone know how to cook?" Cyber and Slip-Dash shrugged at him. Relic sighed. "I'll be back then." Relic dashed off.

"You two might want to set up camp, it could be awhile before it's ready." Contagion called over.

Cyber looked back at Slip-Dash. "Well I'm going to get some firewood, what about you?"

"I'll just create some tents." Slip-Dash raised her arms and liquid metal flew out of them. She then molded them into five solid tents.

"Cool, well I'll see you in a few minutes." Cyber walked off.

Slip-Dash walked over to the cannon. "Need any help?"

Contagion slid out from under the cannon. "Not now, but is someone getting food?"

"Uh, I think Relic is. He should be back soon." Relic stepped beside her. "Or now."

"Hey guys, I brought the food." He held up bags filled with food.

The group walked over, mumbling about how hungry they were.

"Okay, I couldn't figure out what to get, so I got some basic things. Bread, ham, cheese, carrots, and other stuff." Relic set a table cover on the ground and set the food on top of it. "Dig in everyone." Everyone grabbed food and began shoving it down their mouths.

"So how's the cannon comin along?" Cyber asked.

Silver shrugged. "Could be a few more hours. What do you think Contagion?"

"I'm gonna say by the morning it'll be ready." Contagion picked up an apple and bit into it.

Slip-Dash looked at the sky as not only the sun was setting, but the airfleet was slowly advancing to the city. "You'd think those ships would move faster with their huge size."

Relic shrugged. "I think it has something to do with their weight that makes them slow. Though I don't think we have to worry about them till morning."

Cyber yawned. "Hey, I'm going to sleep. See you in the morning." Cyber walked into one of the tents. Relic and Slip-Dash decided to go to sleep to and went into separate tents. Silver went back to the cannon and as Contagion followed, he mumbled "Good night, you're gonna need it."
