Description LAST COLLAB WITH ! I have a gift I want to work on for a friend and then I will get to those one point commissions! This doesn't exactly follow the story due to the card he holds but I just wanted to wish everyone Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas, and Happy Birthday to Jesus Christ our Lord!         It's not as wonderful as I would like but it's humorous and that's what I was going for. Thank you for including me in your fun, Rose! God bless all of you! Here's 's story;

“Help me out of here, guys!” Sonic cried fearfully through the ceiling of the house. Frostfire and the two Hedgehogs waited patiently for the other three to return and listened for word of Sonic’s well-being.

“Holds still, this chimney isn’t very stable.” Tails requested to Sonic. “We need to get rid of it, it’s useless.”

After a minute of several sounds, there was one last thud.

“Good, now that he’s out, can we- Ahhh, Sonic wait, where are you taking me?!” Knuckles distressed voice faded.

“What the heck are they doing out there?” Manic queried puzzledly.

Sonia thoughtfully crossed her arms. “I don’t know bro, but I have my suspicions.” She purposefully headed into the kitchen. Before Manic could question her intent, she was out of the room.

“Uh… Well, that was weird.” Manic said as he sat down on the couch next to Frostfire with a raised eyebrow, trying to piece together what was going on.

“Agreed. Why was Sonic up on the roof, anyhow?” The feline asked the green Hedgehog. He shrugged. “He does not even possess wings like I do.”

“Sonic doesn’t need wings to enjoy being up there.” Manic chuckled. “He likes to take naps on the roof sometimes. I sometimes do, too.”

“Oh,” Frostfire replied. “That’s why you’re not around when I go looking for you.”

“Miss me that much, huh?” He smirked.

Frostfire blushed hard and looked away. “U-Uh, well…”

As gave an affably soft laugh, Sonia walked out of the kitchen with a plate full of chilidogs stacked up like a pyramid and set it, along with a glass of Chaos Cola, down onto a table placed in front of the door; perfect for the aroma to be wafted towards it. “Those for Sonic, sis?”

“Yup! Think I put too many?”

“Knowing him, that probably wouldn’t be enough cuz he’d want more!” Sonia and Frostfire joined in Manic’s guffaw then It was quiet for awhile until the front door swung open, startling the girls and got a “Whoa!” out of Manic.

To Frostfire’s surprise, Sonic sported a red and white-trimmed coat as well as a matching nightcap and pair of gloves. Even his sneakers mirrored the rest of the get-up he adorned. He carried a medium-sized bulging bag on his back. “Santa Sonic has entered the building!” His charming grin was brighter than usual.

Tails casually walked through the door wearing almost exactly what Sonic was wearing save for the attire being green and absence of a hat. “I'm Sonic’s little helper!” He giggled gleefully.

“You’re the only one qualified to be my helper, big guy!” Sonic winked at his best friend and Tails grinned from ear to ear.

Much to the surprise of the Sonic’s siblings, their brother was not on his feet. The Blue Hedgehog was riding on the back of an exasperated Knuckles wearing a headband with antlers on it and a red circular foam over his nose whilst crawling on his hands and knees. All Frostfire could do was squint in confusion as the other two were cackling hysterically.

“Why did you guys force me to do be a reindeer? I look stupid…” Knuckles grumbled, blowing one of the dangling bells attached to an antler away from his face.

Sonic lowered himself to Knuckles so he could hear him whisper, “That's the point~” He looked at everyone in the room as they gathered near him. “Merry Chri- CHILIDOGS!” Completely distracted by the plate of scrumptious and sultry chili-drenched hot dogs in front of him, the Blue Blur momentarily neglected his grand entry as Santa Claus to push himself off Knuckles and leap at the table ahead, gently pushing aside those that blocked it. As he proceeded to stuff his face with Sonia’s heaven-made meal and occasionally down Chaos Cola, Tails quietly laughed.

Sonia went to attend the miserable Echidna and helped him rise to his feet. “Knuckles, honey, are you alright?”

“Remind me to never drink so much Grape Cider in one day before becoming someone’s steed…” He mumbled restraining the urge to puke. “Apparently I’m very gallop-sick…”

She rubbed his back comfortingly. “It’ll be okay, I’m right here if you need me.” He nodded in acknowledgement.

It was not long until Sonic had finished chowing down on his chilidogs. After licking his chops and letting out a healthy burp, he called attention to his friends. “Alright, listen up, guys!” All eyes were on him. “Time to hand out presents!”

Tails gave a half-salute to Sonic, reaching into the bag and responded, “First gift is for-”

Sonic gently pulled him away from the bag. “Hang on, Tails~” He beamed.

“Huh?”

The red-clad Hedgehog pulled out a yellow-orange wrapped flat box from the bag and handed it to the Fox. “Here, bud.” Sonic continued to beam while he watched Tails examined what he was given. Excitedly tearing it open, the Vulpine momentarily forgot he wasn’t alone whilst doing so. Inside the box was a metallic plaque that read “The engine is the heart of an airplane, but the pilot is its soul”. Tails face melted with tears gushing out of his eyes; he ran to Sonic and hugged him. “You welcome big guy!” He laughed. “I saw this the other day and thought of ya. I figured it’d be perfect for your workshop, that bulletin board in your room, in the cockpit of the Tornado, or whatever.”

“It’d be perfect for wherever, Sonic!” Tails wiped his face and had a silly smile. Frostfire almost teared up herself at seeing the friendship between the Fox and the Hedgehog.

“Okay,” Sonic began whilst clearing his throat. “Enough of this, er, mushy stuff. On with the next gift!”

Tails went to pull out a smaller green bag out of the larger bag but accidentally ripped it open. “Oops!” Several Granny Smith apples came hurling out onto the floor.

“No worries, Tails. Accidents happen, lil’ bro!” Sonic eased Tails humiliation. “I kinda rushed wrapping that anyway.” He gave a devious smile.

One of the apples rolled near Manic’s feet. “...Really?” He picked it up and took a big bite out of it with a displeased face. “You got me apples?”

“Hey, it’s better than coal, right?” Sonic smirked.

“So I’ve been naughty this year, I’m guessing?” Manic asked with a deadpan tone in his voice.

“Yeah, you’ve been stealin’ stuff - like always. I bought all these apples so you’d stop - at least for however long they last you.”

His brother took another bite of the apple. “Which could be tomorrow, for all you know.” Frostfire giggled and drew a little closer to the Hedgehogs.

“Knowing you? Yeah…”

“So, bro… What’d you REALLY get me?”

Sonic sighed in defeat. “Okay, you caught me… I did actually have something for you…” Tails handed Sonic a green-wrapped box, one smaller than what Manic received from Frostfire, and he handed it to his brother. Inside was a tiny rectangular case with a little glass door. Inside that was a lock and pick set, each tool inscripted with the letters “AR”.

“No way…” Manic responded in disbelief. “You’re actually freely giving me these?”

“Yep.” Sonic crossed his arms calmly. “As much as I hate you stealing, I know you can’t really just ignore all those years of upbringing. And I’ve finally accepted that you don’t steal from those less fortunate than you, just Buttnik. And occasionally Bartleby.” He donned a friendly smile.

“After what he did to Sonia, he deserves it.” Manic said gruffly. His sister cooed in the corner of the room upon hearing the support of her brother.

“Yeah, that’s my point - I realize now that you understand the difference between stealing… and STEALING… You never use your crazy klepto powers for bad and you only use them on bad people. So this is my way of finally coming to terms with who you are, bro.”

Manic gave a simple smile. “Thanks, dude.”

“Don’t mention it.” Sonic replied.

Manic looked down and noticed the inscription, “These initials… Are they from-?”

“Apollo the Robin.”

The thief wigged out in excitement. “He’s the considered the best pickpocket on Mobius, how’d you get this, bro?!” Manic eagerly queried.

A smug smirk crept up on Sonic’s face. “I have my ways. And before you ask, no; I didn’t steal it. But a magician never reveals his secrets...”

Manic chuckled and shook his head. “Ah, I get it. It’s because he’s a magician… Well, thank you, anyway. This is a rad gift.” Sonic nodded then turned to Tails.

“Hold up - before you give out the next gift, I’ve got one for ya.” Manic reached into his fanny pack.

“You do?” Sonic’s interest shot up like contestant winning at a high striker carnival game. Manic took out a royal blue guitar pick that had the words “Way past cool” on it and handed it to him. “Wow, how’d you know I needed one, bro?”

“Your fingers are shot.” Manic chuckled.

“Okay, fair deduction…” Sonic said. “The catchphrase on this is gold, by the way. You obviously got a hold of this the proper way. Nice job.”

“Yeah, I thought it would be more appropriate that way.” Manic glanced at his sister. Sonia cocked her head, looked at her new necklace, and understood his gesture. She smiled in response.

“Cool. ‘Kay, next gift, Tails!” Sonic directed his young friend.

“Got it!” Tails reached into the bag and gave Sonic a magenta-colored flat present.

“Sis, this one’s for you.” Handing her it, she unwrapped and opened her gift with vigor to discover a framed picture of she and her best friend Mindy.

“Oh my Gosh…” She welled up, becoming unspeakably overjoyed.

“I could have just texted you the image but I know how much you miss her since she moved away, so I figured this would be more meaning-” Sonia squeezed her brother with a tight hug. “-ful.” Sonic coughed as soon as she nearly threw off his balance with the embrace. “Er…” He cleared his throat awkwardly. “You’re welcome…”

“You’re gonna be like that for a while, bro.” Manic teased.

“Yeah… I know…” Sonic admitted with a sigh.

“Guys, stop - I know how to let go of my emotions.” Sonia chuckled and kissed Sonic’s cheek.

“...Tails, another gift, please.” Sonic said, trying to avoid all the mushy emotions. Sonia walked back over to Knuckles, shaking her head at her brother’s discontent with sappy stuff.

The Vulpine dragged a giant cylindrical item out of the bag. “Whew, this is really heavy!”

“Here, bud, lemme help~” As Sonic aided the Fox, Knuckles ogled at was revealed to be a red punching bag.

“Whoa, who’s that for, Sonic?” He marveled, drawing very near to it.

“You, dude.” Finally out of the bag, Sonic let it stand up on it’s base. “It’s got your crescent right here on one side, see?”

“It does?” Inspecting it closer, Knuckles reached out to touch it. Accidentally kicking the base, the entire thing toppled over onto him, crushing him in the process. The unfortunate Echidna had the wind knocked out of him but the most damage done to him was him seeing stars.

Sonia, crazily concerned for his well-being, rushed to his side and lifted the punching bag off him. “Sis, don’t fret - stuff like this happens to him all the time… He’s fine…” Though she wanted to argue, Sonia bit her tongue, knowing her brother was right. While she tended to his wounds, Sonic proceeded with the gift exchange. “Welp, he’ll have a good reason to use that as soon as he is conscious again…” Sonic turned to his holiday helper. “I believe we have one more gift?”

“Yeah, and I know what it is~” Tails replied with a singsongy voice.

Heheh, I know.” Sonic affirmed.

Bringing out a black-wrapped relatively flat present shaped almost like the letter D, Tails presented the mysterious gift to Sonic.

“The only person left here who hasn’t received a present is Frost, so… What did you get her?” Sonia inquired.

The Hedgehog walked over to the Snow Leopard/Cheetah Hybrid proudly. “Something she’s needed for a long time.” Frostfire cocked her head in extreme curiosity of what was being bestowed upon her. She had everything she ever wanted in this circle of friends, including a budding romantic relationship, what could she possibly receive that could even closely amount to that much happiness? “Here, Frost. Take it.” Doing as what was requested of her, she held it in her hands. Even with all the wrapping paper, she knew exactly what it was.

“This is… This is amazing…” Frostfire marveled.

“Wait, you already know?” Sonic asked.

“Told ya she would, Sonic. It’s her speciality.” Tails gloated.

“Yeah, I owe you an apology…” Sonic admitted then looked back at the feline. “Frost, quit gawkin’ and just open it!” He chuckled. In one swift motion, Frostfire used her claws to tear the wrapping paper open, more curious about what the gift actually looked like than conserving the paper itself. Removing it all completely, a glossy, sleek, gray mechanical bow remained. Manic and Sonia had their fair shares of “Oohs!” and “Ahhs!” while Frostfire admired her new weapon silently. “I’m going to take your response as extremely good, heh…” Sonic gingerly replied. “I noticed how you’d always bring that bow and spear of yours with you during your hunts, and since you use them alot, they’re probably beat up - at least they look like they are, so Tails and I thought of a way to fix that for ya.” Tails glanced at him with a raised eyebrow. “Okay, I brought the idea to him and HE actually made it.”

“See that blended gray button there at the bottom? Press that.” Tails pointed out and instructed. After doing so, she - and the others - wondered at the weapon transforming into a mechanical spear. “Now you do not have to lug around to weapons to hunt anymore - convenient weaponry change on the fly! It’s super light, isn’t it? I know you need to reduce as much sound as possible out there while hunting so I used lighter metals to construct the weapon. I think you’ll find it easier to stalk your prey, now. Oh, and also, I have a matching quiver complete with arrows.” Handing the arrow container to her, Frostfire still did not speak, as this craftsmanship was so mind-boggling for her.

“So… Do you like it or what?” Sonic questioned earnestly. As with Sonia, she did not reply but instead hug both he and Tails; one arm around each their necks. Her flowing tears and content smile were all that needed to express her gratitude. “Oh boy… You’re not gonna kiss me too, are ya?” Sonic fearfully asked her.

“No, of course not!” Frostfire giggled.

“Good… Because I’m taken by one heck of a woman.” Sonic chuckled then realized that if this seasoned hunter could burn his face off and freeze it simultaneously, and now pierce his fur in more than just one way, if she chose to. “U-Uh, not to say that you aren’t one heck of a woman but you aren’t Sal or my girl, so, um…” He gulped then continued. “I’m just going to stop talking now before you decide to make me your first victim of your new toy…” Like lightning, Sonic stepped a few feet backwards, whistling to draw attention away from himself. Though she found it silly that he’d assume such behavior out of her, Frostfire chuckled knowing that if she had been offended, she might have taken the opportunity to attempt to harm him, though, his speed and her hesitation would stop her. She then joined Manic in his discussion with Sonia and a now stable Knuckles while Sonic and Tails cleaned up the wrapping paper.

“So, Tails…” Sonic began, crouching by his Vulpine friend. “How’s Cosmo doing?”

Tails’ cheeks rosied a little. “She’s fine, kind of sad that she had to leave me to visit family this Christmas, but they do say time away makes both people’s hearts grow fonder so… I look forward to her return when we both show we missed eachother.”

“I bet you do, Tails. I bet you do.” Sonic answered.

“Well, since that is the last present, I’ll go throw this huge bag away; it’s gonna break and tear any minute n-” As Tails picked up the empty bag, a small navy blue fuzzy case with “Sal” written on the lid fell out, along with a ring. Tails gave Sonic a quick look, to which the Hedgehog blushed furiously in response. Tails “zipped” his mouth and nodded. Putting back the ring in its case, Tails gave it to Sonic and softly smiled at him. Sonic put it into his pocket and gave a thumbs up to Tails.

Moments later, the door was blasted through and a sinister figure of red and white appeared. “Ho, ho, ho! And his heart shrunk three sizes that day!” The Doctor’s jolly laughter was virtually the same as his evil one.

Frostfire saw the crazy man in red and wanted to pulverize him, however she wanted to run as well but before she could make any decision, as if fate intervened, Sonic said “Oh no, you don't!” and punted his hovercraft so hard with a single kick that it jettisoned him into the sky, away from the neighborhood. “This town ain't big enough for the two of us!”

Eggman’s only reply was “Bah humbuuuuuuug...!” as he disappeared into the horizon.

The other five were puzzled by how that scenario played out but they eventually laughed it off, even Frostfire.

“Good thing the only damage Eggman did was to our door. Don’t worry guys, I’ll get this cleaned up with one of my robots.” Tails informed his friends.

“I’ll help~” Sonia offered, grabbing a broom and dustpan from the kitchen.

“No, that’s okay, Sonia; you don’t have to-”

“Tails, it’s fine!” She said cheerfully as she began sweeping the shrapnel into the dustpan.

“Thanks!” The Fox replied, heading to the workshop to retrieve the aforementioned robot.

Frostfire sat on the couch, contemplating about all that she witnessed these last two days. Before she could deeply dive into her thoughts, Manic came and sat down by her, kissing her on the cheek. “Hey gorgeous.” Her cheeks flashed bright red.

“H-Hey, Manic.”

“Babe, you don’t have to be keep being so reserved with me. Loosen up a little~” The green Hedgehog winked and playfully pushed his body against her, nearly causing her to fall on her side. She returned his action with a hard shove, which resulted in a sort of competition to see who could shove the other harder. Eventually, Manic trapped Frostfire on the couch between his arms while she was on her back. She kept her paws close to her chest, almost terrified of being so vulnerable in his presence. With a very smug smirk on his face, she knew Manic sensed her terror.

Fortunately for Frostfire, Sonic popped into the situation before Manic could exploit the advantage he had over her. “Whoa, guys, get a room~!” He chortled before seeing about helping his sister and Tails with the shrapnel. Frostfire didn’t quite comprehend the meaning of Sonic’s words, but judging by Manic’s reaction, it was not in her favor.

Despite the save from his brother, Manic used this comment to his advantage and gave yet another smirk in Frostfire’s direction but with added flirtatious affect.

“W-Why are you looking at me like that?” Frostfire’s entire face reddened. His smirk grew and he narrowed his eyes - a face she knew all too well; as it was one only a predator would have during pursuit of its prey. A shiver shot down her spine as he drew closer.

“Don’t you want to get away from the holiday madness and just snuggle in bed while watching TV?” Manic’s sudden change in tone shocked her but her laugh let him know that she caught onto his deceptive response. He let her sit up and he withdrew from being so near to her.

“That does sound quite nice but I think the toasty fireplace is good for now. Perhaps later tonight.”

While she looked at the dancing flames, Manic leaned in close to her ear and whispered, “Nothing beats body warmth, you know.”

Nearly jumping out of her seat, she playfully punched him on the arm. “Stop!” She pleaded, trying to hide her hot cheeks with a nearby blanket.

Manic laughed at her reaction and told her, “Well, until you are ready for some late night cuddles, I’m gonna go play one of my favorite Christmas songs www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZC3WB…  to pass the time. Check ya later, babe~” The green Hedgehog summoned his drumset and let the music put him into a creative stupor.

While Frostfire became enchanted by his playing, Tails - who finished cleaning up the broken door and blocked off the exposed entryway to prevent the winter chill from blowing into the house - sat in the chair adjacent to her. “So, how have you enjoyed your first Christmas, Frost?”

She beamed at him. “You know, Tails, this entire holiday thing has been quite the experience for me.” Frostfire looked at the window, sighed contently, and watched the snow fall once more. “But out of all the strange holidays you and your friends have shown me, I think this might be my favorite.”
