Ok extra title LOL ! HXD Anywayere's the first piece in my new SU art series! My theme for this series was to see what it would be like if the Diamond Authority were more like divine goddesses. My main design element I wanted to highlight were the henna-like tattoos that cover their bodies. They are permanent tattoos, but only appear during a sacred performance known as Gem Incandescence in which the Diamond will use her divine power to bring gems to life unlike the garden method. The tattoos are made out of ancient gem dust that allows the respective Diamond to use her magic to the fullest potential. Blue Diamond in particular uses water as a conduit, her sacred place being the Room of Tears. Her Gem Incandescence performances are very emotional and she often cries during them so that her tears fall into a huge, shining pool of water, which then brings to life her faithful gems.
