Based on Jeanex/November's "Pacific" interpretation of Kantai Collection -KanColle- and inspired by Sasahara17's The Greatest Generation .

Not an interpretation of any scene in particular, but a what-if: Enterprise, who went far beyond the call of duty and was glorified for it, came back on the side of Man. Arizona, who sank at Pearl and didn't even get salvaged, had her grudge be the stronger and came back as an Abyssal. They could have finished her off at range, but Enterprise feels it's her duty to what used to be her friend to look her right in the eye as she delivers the coup de grace.
