Here's something out of left field, to show that Lightning is teh Pimp! jk xD...but she does go well with anyone.
's crossover fanfic Army of One [link] features Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII and the cast of champions from League of Legends. It was so fun I had to spread the word. This pic is a thank you to Kobuzero... I know you like this pairing xD
For fans of Lightning fight action, Lightning lives up to her title here. It's BRUTAL. Lots of rompin' stompin' fun, LoL style.

Me neither when I started. The story explains enough to follow along. I found that having this [link] on hand helps to get a better image of the champions. I also ended up youtubing some LoL clips, and it looks like a fast-paced addictive PvP game. Just like this story xD

I truely do love this artwork and it is exactly how I envisioned this couple XD As much as I try I have not been able to draw my own image of them and this is far more beautiful than I could have done myself. I'm very glad to hear that! There's always that uncertainty when making gift/fan art whether it's sufficiently faithful to the author's vision. I thoroughly enjoyed your story, but for the life of me would never have bumped into it since I don't browse LoL fics or top-level FFXIII fics, and there are no crossover categories (afaik). It was by great fortune that my Lightning pic caught your attention and I had the opportunity to ask for the link.
You portrayed Lightning in the way that enamored me to her in Dissidia 012. Determined regardless of the odds, and gets the job done. With class. Sometimes I see people presenting her as incompetent, and that makes me wonder if her ultimate was just a fancy name. Not so here, she fully deserves it. I'd find myself aghast at her reckless stubborness, only to be replaced by cheering her on for her grit and courage. Thank you again for the fic and showing Lightning at her best!

Its kind of funny how I found your artwork I wasn't actually looking for anything in particular I was just surfing through Lightning art work after I had just finished a chapter and I spotted your artwork and I thought to myself "That looks like how I imagined her Judgement, she had that determined look in her eyes like she meant business!" Now I have actually been doing a full overhaul on chapter 2 to actually fit the feel and look of that picture XD
And I feel your pain on trying to find good fanfiction out there. Sometimes it can be difficult to find them especially if you don't know where to look. Also you're welcome and I'm happy that your enjoying my story! I definitely have more drive now to really power through this next chapter because its going to be glorious.
