Ship number 9, feeling real fine! Who are these ponies you might ask? Well I'll tell you!
The earth pony stud on the left is Bright Idea's strong, smart, patient, and talented father, Big Ben, and the gorgeous unicorn mare on the right is her sweet, caring, melodious mother, Silver Song.

I've drawn both characters separately in the past, and this marks the first time I've actually bothered to draw them together! Man, a lot of firsts in this drawing series, huh?

As you can see, they both have very musical cutiemarks; Big Ben's specialty is guitar, but he can play basically any instrument he comes across. Silver Song has the flute as her mark, and she's also a very good singer, although she doesn't have as much opportunity to perform as Bright thinks she should.

Together, they are a terrific team, and their bond is one that has lasted 3 decades! Since they're married, it might seem strange to say, "I ship my parents", but at the same time, how can you not?! May they continue making sweet music together, and hope that all you guys like their designs and characters!
