If your visual focus is on the globe in the midlle, center of the painting, the next one on the left side seems to vanish more in the dark background.
I suppose our visual cortex works this way. So, now you focus this globe in the dark and something different happens: the two smaller globes on the right become more important. I think it's depending on the contrast to the red elements. And so on ...... If you hide the red bow in right corner, nothing of the things i describe as a 'dialogue' happens.
You combinde the background shades and structure and the positions and colors of the elements perfectly.
