Description This is another doodle that I made during the Christmas holidays. Demeter holding baby Persephone (who obviously still hasn't given up on biting on pomegranates).


Tomorrow I'll go away to visit my friend Patrik again. I had hoped to have another comic page done before that, but it required some more thinking and I don't want to stress out the ending of the Athena comic (only one or two pages left!) so you'll have to wait until after January 23.

So cute! I'm really happy you did a baby Persephone because around Christmas I had a picture of baby Persephone playing with cubes in my head. But I never got to draw it.

I've never tried to bite through a pomegranate, but I've always heard that you have to cut them open with a knife, so I guess that they're pretty hard (I've only eaten pomegranates a few times and then someone else opened them).

I love little details in this picture. Like poppy heads in Demeter's hair. Makes me think of some sculptures/figures I have seen.
