Time to go back to mommy. I have to admit that I'm not completely sure exactly where Demeter and Persephone live. I use to imagine that they have several identical houses at different places that they move between. One pretty close to Eleusis, one on Sicily (the two places that first comes to my mind when I think about Demeter and Persephone) and... a few other places.The hands and other body parts made of clay that Persephone mentions in the third panel are of course votive offerings. They still hang up similar things in Greek churches today.

I'm very pleased with the relationship between Persephone and her sisters Athena and Artemis. I knew from the beginning that there would be some kind of friendship between them, but I couldn't exactly see them as best friends since they are quite different from each other. Not to mention that Persephone is not the most friendly, extroverted lady around.

Glad to see that Persephone did make some new friends, and bonded with her cousins a bit. Rhea was probably happy to spend some time with her granddaughter too.
