I've only been sitting on this since July.

I'm glad I finally gave her obi a pattern. I found one online and kinda recolored it.

Envy- Desire to have a quality, possession, or attribute of another person.
Why ice? Envy can make a person rather cold and unforgiving, possibly even numbing. Ice and the chill of winter can be just the same.

The design- Furisode are for unmarried women traditionally 15+. Nowadays girls don't normally wear furisode till their coming of age at 20. The design of the kimono is very plain, very wanting. It goes with the theme of ice and winter. Colors were added to either accentuate the color of the kimono or stand out against the dullness of it.
The character's good side is destroyed on a cold winter's night. She's fleeing from the warmth of her village after jealousy gave her no where else to go.
