Theyre right though- This is an adverse. Not a satanist pentagram - its not even a pentagram its a pentacle. This gets majorly jumbled up and misused among the forms of Pagan / Wicca / Satanism alot qoq mostly cause of false info started by Christianity back in the late to demonize Pagans as a whole.
an adverse or inverted pentagram represents the descent of spirit into matter, in paganism and in wicca. It represents feminine energy and matter ruling over spirit. The only "evil" it possess is that of Eve being the downfall of man, but it is not Satanist in creation qoq. Baphoment, the name of the Satanism pentagram, while similar, is still vastly different.
The satanist pentagram is very much different than this one. qoq Im not trying to "attack" you, I wanted to make sure you are properly informed as this is one of the really jumbled matters.

This isn't actually the satanic pentagram. The satanic pentagram has the image of a goat head on it as well. The pagan/wiccan pentagrams point up and down.
The pentagram pointing up is mainly used for protection spells and the pentagram pointing down is for "depleting" spells.

The church of satanism adopted the symbol as their own and edited it slightly. Mainly satanists are to blame for us pagan and wiccan's reputation these days.
