It was always so hard for me to draw roses

Haha, that's not true at all! Just the other day I was trying to make a portrait of Liz Taylor and it took me hours to have a "decent" lineart...and when I took a good look at it, it was not decent at all, it seemed like an abstract work. It was so frustrating! I usually do a sketch first on a used paper and then I trace my own drawing on another paper, the one that I will use to colour. And even then, the result it's never what I want! Haha, so frustrating! But that's what improvement is for.

You are better than me cause I draw with lines in the sketch
so I think that your way is better and makes you a real artiste with a good eye

It is ok to draw lines in the sketch, the final result is what counts and your work is trully amazing, so I have no complaints, hehe. I don't know if my way is better, it just makes me feel more safe while drawing, I think "hey, If this does not go right, then nothing happens, I'll take another old paper and start again since this is not the paper that I will use for the final work" but...I waste a lot of paper and time with this method.
That's true, the more you do the better you will get.^^

I wish I could have more time to draw, but it is so hard. I don't know how the other artists manage. I am a med student and always have exams to take, lessons and books to read...And a lot of funny/weird names to memorize as well. It's exhausting...
What about you? How are things going in Egypt? (If you don't mind me asking you, I don't want to be rude, I am just very curious about people around the world and since you are from my favourite country on earth...^^)

About me I'm working as a graphic and web designer and have a lot of fun in my work
I hardky too find a time to draw but at least I draw in my holidays
Everything is good in Egypt maybe a little bit of political problems but I think Everything is gonna be better soon

I had some troubles with real life and couldn't find the time to draw, but for not writing to you and the rest of my dA friends, I have no excuse and I am trully sorry. I feel ashamed.
But I didn't forget about any of you, so if you may, I would love it very much to keep hearing from you and your life in Egypt.

I have seen that you have started working with a tablet. Some of your digital artworks are just stunning! You are very talented. The one with the cat is my favourite!!
I own a tablet too, but I fail at digital works, I think I don't understand photoshop and since I have been told that it is, in fact, pretty simple, I suppose that means that I am a dummy with computers.Hahaha.

Still learning? You are mastering it in my opinion.
I have watched some tutorials and it looks easy, but then when I am with my computer and my tablet I mesh things up so badly, haha. I think I work better with my pencils.
