I find it easier to draw animals in coloured pencil, humans are really difficult, especially the skin...

I think that you are right about the skin colors
I have a 36 set of coloured pencils and they can not help me at drawing portraits
I think I'm in a real need of a 120 set
but it's very expensive to me
I'm not so good at drawing animals
but i will try to do something as soon as possible

Maybe we draw different things in coloured pencils
but we draw the same in pencils portraits
and i see it clearly
your works are really better than mine

I do have 150 different colours that I have been collecting over many years (I used to have a box of Karisma's, they stopped making them in Europa and now I'm slowly replacing them by Prismacolor, they are exactly the same lead, they just don't look as fancy as the Karisma's did )
I don't think I would ever want to draw with another brand of pencils, they are so great, soft and waxy and blend really well. If you ever get a chance to try them, I would say do it or if you already have them maybe expand the number !

I heard a lot about Prismacolor
but I don't know if we have this brand here in Egypt or not - there is a lot of Art stuff not so easy to find in here
I Have Faber-Castel Polychromos
It's good but i really want to Try Prismacolor one day - Maybe if one of my friends went to Europa someday i will ask him to buy me one

They don't sell them here in the Netherlands either, I order them via the internet from the UK, it's the shipping costs that make it expensive... I hope you'll be able to try them one day

okay even though my english is not very good I'll try to write a good critique for you because this piece is really worth it.

first to the negative points:
-her arms aren't shaded so well, I can still see every stroke of the pencil, which makes it looks like she has fur on her arms. Try to blend it a bit more next time.
-the eyeshadow she wears looks very strong. This is not a real point because I don't know if you wanted to copy the reference 1:1 or if you wanted these colors a bit stronger but in my opinion a bit more of a gradient effect would look better in this case
-her hair looks very yellowish, use more light yellows and brown next time
- I'm not sure about that but it seems as if her cheeks are kind of blown up, I think that this is because of the shading not the shape of her head as such.

ooh looks like alot but these are really just all the things i could find and it's not much at all. the rest is super good but let me just point out the best :

-her bunny ears look incredible! they look so real i just whant to touch them trough the monitor ^.^
-the glowing light in her back shines very nice around her hair which creates the awesome atmosphere of this piece
-her nose and mouth look perfect even though they're very hard to draw
-the details of her dress and her hair (the critique was just because of the color).

and of course...SO CUUUTE BUNNY

..oh my, this was LONG. But I hope I could helped you anyways, you know I'm a big fan of all of your work

Did, you change this one up a little bit since submission???
I am not sure, but it looks like it had more brightness in the gold tones
and throughout the drawing...But, then again...I could just be seeing
things...or my grey matter is getting a little more grey...
