Today's Care Bears Kids are siblings who wanted to sleep, Gary (left in art, in red striped pyjamas) and Barbara (right, in green spotted pyjamas) from Marvel's Care Bears comic book series. They appeared in the tenth issue's story titled "The Creepy Unsleepy Mystery".

Gary and Barbara were sent to their bed, but they were unable to sleep due to an uncertain condition. The Care Bears arrive in their house to remind the siblings to sleep, but they told them that they had a school test on vocabulary. However, everyone in the neighborhood was also awake at night and that's caused by the Sandman losing his sandbag, that's filled with "magic sleep sands".

In the second part of the story, Gary and Barbara helped the Care Bears trio retrieve the magic sandbag from the villain Nightmayor, who wanted everyone to stay awake overnight. Many pages later, the Care Bears managed to defeat the Nightmayor, along with his servant the Drizzly Bear, and let everybody, including Gary and Barbara, sleep at night, before the siblings' school test.

Kept most aspects of the original designs, but changed their hairstyles. Also featured some Care Bears merchandise with familiar faces everybody loves.

Total Care Bear Kids count: 92 (46 male, 46 female; I wonder if there's gonna be an uneven amount?)
