character design and initial appearance for a collab web comic currently in progress, i'll be posting more character developments soon once i get to drawing it, and also i'll be posting our comic here, i just hope we get some good feedback . @_@.about the character: the name is mikio, identical twin brother of kiuko. separated at birth, mikio was brought up in the developed city whilst kiuko stayed at rural japan. and so on and so on.... XD
total time : 70 mins to complete.

What's interesting is this has just a 'classical' feel to it. Gods, myths, that sort of thing.
Yet there's nothing classical about it, Whatsoever. You've invented a style here; all your own.

His expression is so wonderfull that i could eat his head right away. the blade doesn't look so sharp as the light and shadow propably makes it look like that, but I think you made it for purpose, and I still love the effect on that blade, and in the whole aggressive picture.

... I was fooled by this at first,
from the sketchy quality of the lines I had thought that this was
a piece of traditional art done on paper, but it's not
ah, it's still lovely though
...I really enjoy the fact that this image doesn't rely to heavily on the lineart
it's refreshing to see these sort of pictures without excessive lines weighing it down
I'll be looking into this sort of style to try out myself in the future
