ive been browsing through devart and there seems to be a craze in ff art. i dont think ive seen a recent squall fanart yet so im contributing this.
more of a semi finished piece because of the lack in effort for the bg, but there is always a reason for this, i have learnt (from an amazing artist... forgot name) that its important to have an image with a specific focal point, and if the image is too busy with detail and whatnot, the viewers eye will be distracted from the primary object. okay so i should just say im lazy, but i thought this wasnt so bad for a 5 hr effort.
all done in painter 9.
ps: ive recently obtained toon boom and photoshop cs2 cough... download... cough. and im hoping to get a wacom tablet so i can vary the strokes.

and about the comic, ive almost finished the first scene, so i hope it'll be all uploaded in about a months time ( cant forget the concepts, bios, story, and some exclusive artworks )
