Description A racoon on his way to explore the world

This artwork was much fun to draw and the markers were very merciful to me this time.
The fur was a new challenge due to the multiplicity of it's colors.
So I was sitting over 14 hours only to complete the fur ^^'

Done with markers, acrylic inks, Polychromo/Prismacolor pencils.

Well, the hawks have yet to claim any of the chickens as their dinner, so I think we're good for now.

What a great character, there is a racoon in my neighborhood that raids my trash dumpster. I remember my black lab carrying a young racoon in his mouth. He didn't harm the critter, I brought the racoon juvenile back to his nest in an abandoned concrete plant across the street, and I think it's the same fellow stealing my garbage, he's all grown up of course.
