Personality:

Charles is a rather....loud individual, when voicing his opinion or giving a stern lecture to troublemakers that is. But most of the time when hes arguing with Cass or Kale (who he tends to bicker with on many occasions.) He has an air of authority around him when in the classroom and if you fall asleep just know he wont hesitate to smack you over the head with his clipboard to wake you up. Either pay attention or get out. He has his moments where he shows a much less stern and irritable side but those are few and far between; but he does like to talk a lot regardless of his mood.

History

Before reaching adulthood and becoming a teacher at the Academy, Charles was a rather frail child. His dislike for hospitals and the smell of antiseptic came from the fact that he spent most of his childhood lying in a hospital room. He had been stuck with needles so many times it no longer fazes him, and medicine is something he doesnt usually bother with anymore, his body having grown an immunity to most pain killers. Ever since he was a small child he had been prone to chronic migraines and severe pains throughout his body, hence the hospitalization; but nothing they tried seemed to work, and they couldn't find the cause. But as he got older things got better, he still has the migraines if he forgets to take his medication (the only non natural medicine he takes now) but the body aches and pains recede when he uses his powers. Perhaps it was the pent up energies?

Either way when he was released from the hospital his social skills were slim to none and was able to go to a normal school for once. He went through school to become a teacher for his favorite subject, the history of theatre having been his best class in school as well.
