HISTORY; Kichirou was born from an affaire his mother had when she was in her early 20s. When he was born he lived with his mother for 3 years in a little apartment. However when his mother lost her job the small family move with the grandparents. Kichirou would play with his grandparents while his mother would look for a job. He didn't mind that his mother was always gone, he had his grandparents with him. One night when Kichirou was 6 His mother came home from job hunting. He went up to her with his usual happy face. This always made his mother's day, after being rejected by job after job, so much better. Only this time, she had a present with her. She gave a little box to Kichirou who opened it to find a small orange mouse; His allmate.

  One day Kichirou's mother had to travel out of the city because she still couldn't find a job. She was gone for a week...then another week. Kichirou was getting a little worried about his Mother when there was a phone call at the house. Kichirou's grandmother picked up the phone; after a few moments her face went pale. After she hung up the phone Kichirou was going to ask her what was wrong, but before he could start his grandmother hugged him and started to cry. Unsure what was going on he did what a little 7 year old could do; he hugged his grandmother back and kept telling her that everything was alright. What he didn't know was the phone call was from the police.

  Not even a week later people after people started to bring food to the little house and Kichirou didn't know why. One night he finally asked why people were bring food to their home. His grandfather was the only one who could reply to him; His mother was found in a ditch under a car.

  Years later Kichirou has moved on from his mother's death and won't let himself stay sad forever. He's Grandmother always told him, "Life is too short to be sad" and he lives towards those words to this day. Always making sure he's happy and making those around him happy.

    Kichirou works at Hepaestus and he loved his job. He mostly dose desk work but from time to time he can be caught tinkering with trinkets found in the store. One spring day when Kichirou was walking home from work he got a call from his grandfather; his grandmother collapsed and broke her hip. Kichirou rushed home to find his grandmother stuck in bed. During her recovery he make sure she ate all her meals and made sure she was comfortable everyday. After school and work Kichirou would go out and do the shopping for supplies and made sure to take care of his grandmother's garden while she was bed-ridden. He would happily take any chore around the house to make things easier for his grandparents.

  As Kichirou's grandmother slowly recovered Kichirou meet this boy. Kichirou was walking out of the super market with arms full of bags, as he walked he would frequently drop and item. As he did Kichirou would have to set the bags down and place the item back in the bag. As he was about to pick up an item another hand reached out and picked it up. Surprised, Kichirou looked up to a boy he remembered that goes to High school with him. The boy offered to help take the bags back to his house and he did. The two meet in little situations like that and would end up walking to Kichirou's house together talking about random subjects. Kichirou felt he made a good friend.

  After his grandmother's recovery Kichirou's grandmother was super happy to start to move around again; however her hip is still fragile and could break under any physical demanding work so Kichiro always made sure he is always there to help her out. As Kichirou helped with the shopping after work he bumped into the boy more and more often. One cool autumn night as Kichirou was leaving work the boy showed up. By the way he stood by a pole showed he's been waiting for a while. Once he noticed Kichirou he asked him to go and get something to eat with him. Kichirou wanted to say the he couldn't because he had to make sure his grandparents were alright but his stomach interrupted him. Kichirou blushed from the embarrassing sound he made in front of his friend. However his friend just laughed, took his hand and said, "I'll take that as a 'Yes'."

   As the two friends entered the restaurant they grabbed a booth seat, ordered, and waited for their food. Kichirou quietly sipped his soda as he waited for his meal to come when his best friend asked him a question. "How do you see me?" Kichirou was confused at this question but he answered truthfully, "Your my best friend." Kichirou noticed his friend make a face like that wasn't the answer he wanted. "Is that all?" Kichirou was a little puzzled by this next question. Was he asking about appearance? His character maybe? While Kichirou was wondering what he meant his friend lend over the table to Kichirou. Kichirou realized that he was inched from his lips when he snapped out of his thinking bubble and leaned away. "Why..." mumbled his best friend, "why won't you let me..." Kichirou got a horrid feeling in his gut that was telling him to leave. So, listening to his gut, he jumped up and ran out of the building.

  Kichirou ran as far as he could until he ran out of breath. As he tried to breath he replayed the event over and over in his head. His best friends...wanted to kiss him? While lost in thought a voice snuck up behind him,"Why don't you realize..." Startled Kichirou flipped around to see his 'best friend' standing behind him. Kichirou watched his friends deep determinate eyes, "Kichirou...I-I love you!" Kichirou blushed when the words reached his ears. 'Can two guys be in love?', he thought. His friend slowly walked closer to Kichrou as he took steps back. With all the shock that just happened Kichirou's 17 year old mind became hazy and he found that he couldn't say anything. As he step back from his friend all he could do is shake his head; he just wanted to leave. As if by command his wish was granted, Kichirou turned on his heels and sprinted home.

  As time passed life returned to normal from that day on, Kichirou has never see his 'friend' since then. However he has though about this 'BoyxBoy' thing...even though he would like to just push the thought of liking men down into the corner of his brain. Could he ever love another man?
