Something quick and lazy I managed to draw, while being painfully sick, after being inspired the pure stupidity of the Liberal government of Canada. Seriously Canadians, you should've just kept the last guy for little longer, Justin's just worse....

Yes and no?? My impression is that the Canadian authorities and government are more willing to listen to nutty left-wing ideas, whereas in America, it seems to be mostly a proletarian thing where bureaucrats either ignore it or don't notice.

The irony is that some movements really ONLY apply to the situation in the United States. BlackLivesMatter, for ex, is about the perceived bias among police officers in shooting black men disproportionately to other people, including an especially disproportionate number unarmed. This isn't a situation that can even possibly apply in Canada, as the police there kill just 20 or so people a year, whereas they kill closer to 1100 people a year in the U.S. (of which 25% are black men, of which 30% are not visibly armed).

I've been pleasantly surprised with Trudeau thus far. I went into this with low expectations (which were not helped at all by the "2016" speech), but it's not been as bad as I'd thought. Hopefully they get the dollar back on track, though... It's down quite a bit.

He had that speech in 2015, and no, Justin and his party and government are really anti-capitalism (even going as far as criticizing people who work hard and saves and spends their earned money sensibly) and pretty much (3rd wave) feminist. CAD is not gonna recover as long the Liberals are in power.

If someone says it's [current year] then they pretty much have no logical reason for any change.

Eh, looks to me like he's got far too many people's support for that kind of thing to happen. For better or worse, he's won a majority government. The way I see it, it's just a question of how many terms we'll have him for.

God no. He's not the best, but he's certainly not an idiot- Least of all an idiot of the calibre someone would have to be to sour relations with our biggest trade partner and strongest ally.

Trump may not be as bad as what (leftist) media has been pulling with clickbaity articles. What Americans want is honest, logically thinking guy to run the country. Did you know that Trump supports universal healthcare for example?

He's a business man so Americans might also just want US economy back on track. And he's also politically incorrect and majority of Americans, both Republicans and Democrat supporters respectively, think that PC culture is going too far.

Oh, believe me, I think it's gone too far as well. And yes, I was aware of Trump's healthcare stance, which puts him far above a lot of them in my mind.

Who knows how he'd do as president? Maybe it would be good, maybe it would be godawful. I'm definitely not the sort to trust the tabloid websites and their ilk as the ultimate authority on politics- I hardly think Trump is Hitler or anything similar.

In the recent elections in Canada, Liberal Party won, they wanted to get rid of the last guy from being prime minister. When a current prime minister, Justin Trudeau, selected his cabinet to be "gender balanced", 50% men and 50% women, with different ethnic backgrounds and when he was asked by a journalist about this, first thing he (literally) said was "It's 2015." Pushing Political Correctness.

And so far Canadian government has been fucking up the country, like stopping the bombing the ISIS, taking too many Syrian refugees, 25 000 the vast majority of refugees they brought over, weren’t in refugee camps back in the middle east, restores funding to UNRWA, group formerly defunded for financing Hamas by previous government, screwing over Alberta's economy and I could go on and on...
