Ugh, forgive my cheesiness... This scene wouldn't leave my head.
Love languages are the way we recognize and receive love from the our family, friends and especially our significant other. I would assume that Shadow's love language would be "words of affirmation" with "physical touch" coming in at a close second. Shadow doesn't need constant praise, but hearing the words "I love you" and being touched affectionately (hugs, kisses, holding hands etc.) really makes him happy.

Years ago, I myself had tried applying Gary Chapman's "Love Languages" logic to the characters in this series.
I was never sure what Shadow's were, since he rarely showed positive emotion.
But perhaps it's just a hard outer shell, and deep down, he does feel love from words of affirmation.
As for physical touch, it's possible he responds to that as well, but only from individuals whom he trusts, like Rouge.
Was the title of this picture inspired by the Fleetwood Mac song of the same name, by any chance? Because, as I think of the chorus, it seems to fit this picture.
