I wanted to draw some villains this time, since I've already drawn almost 50 other final fantasy characters. (wow, since when the number increased that high??) Anyway, I started with the very first antagonist in final fantasys history: Garland, who definitely goes easily on my top five list. I had to draw Chaos too as well, since they are the same person. In theory at least. There's not much backround story about them, and as a villain Garland was this typical power hunger dictator. In first half an hour you get to known a former castle Cornelia's knight called Garland, who kidnaps princess Sarah and insists to get a control of the kingdom in exchange of her life. But that was pretty new thing in RPG games back in -87, and many other villains have been created after using Garland as a archetype.

But what makes Garland special even in now days level, is his way to get his goal he's aiming to. His plan was to create a time loop, that would allow him to exist forever and he would eventually become Chaos, god of discord. In original game, Garland was summoned back 2000 years in the past, and the warriors of light followed him there. And when Garland had finished his time loop, he turned into Chaos, who was the last boss. However, like his last words are saying: "But I will be reborn once more. So even as you die, again and again, I shall return. Born again in this endless cycle I have created!" meaning, that practically he is immortal :3

Since I still don't have my new tablet, I drew this whole thing using only mouse xD It really was pretty difficult.. Especially Chaos' demonic satan apperiance, since I'm not good drawing those things anyway...
